We were only able to teach Irma and Urbano once this week and that was a bmmer but we taught them on satrday and we taught about obedience. We then asked them if they were going to come to church the next day and Irma said yes but Urbano said he wasn't sure. We jumped right on that one and brought up keeping the sabbath day holy and talked about faith and the blessings it brings us to come to church and lo and behold urbano said '' sister we promise that we will be there in church tomorrow!'' it was amazing!!!!! So we were nervously waitin ghte next morning but the front doors to the church building and in walks Urbano! the only bummer is that he came alone with out Irma because Irma was sick :( poor thing she is such a sweetheart.

We also found out something interesting this week from our recent convert Miguel Angel. He's fourteen and he confessed to my companion that he's in love with me hahahaha. when she told me what he said we just about died from laughter. poor kid.  I guess he also told her that 90% of him understands that its impossible that we could ever be together but that 10% of him still has hope. so funny. he comes with us everywhere to teach lessons he's a our little branch missionary. he's given talks and born his testimony several times in sacrament meeting. We're starting to teach his grandma who told us that the first time she walked into the church building she felt a peace that she's never felt before we kept talking and she pretty much told us that she knows its true. We asked her if she wanted to be baptised and she said yes, we have't put a date on it yet but its a work in progress.  she didin't come to church because apparently she didn't feel very good.

We have a new investigator Yareli. she's lesbian and has a lot of poblems. Like drinking and drinking and drinking. she is the ex-girlfriend of Miguel's mom.... Who is not lesbian but for some reason felt like she was obligated to be wiht yareli... I'm not sure why. Anyways I think she might be falling in love with my companion but I might just be imagining things, hopefully. Its going to be interesting teaching her. We're seeing her today at 7.

Also today I made cinnamon rolls. They were really good. Not the best ones I've made but they tuned out pretty delicious. They all want me to open up a store called Roles de Canela Naegle jajaja.   oh my.

Well everything is still going great here. We're working and keeping the faith :) love you all!

Naegle nover: fiesta in Buda!

This week we had zone conference. Elder Patrick Kearon came and basically changed all of our lives. He is a convert with an English accent and all of us were stunned by how much love he had for us and how much wisdom he had to share. It was really good for our mission to have him here. Later in the week he presided over our Mission Leadership Council and I got to hear from him again in an even smaller setting. He asked for my comments and at first I was a little nervous but then I let it all go and shared all of my thoughts and he was able to give me some good advice. He was really nice and later thanked me for being open.

      The other really cool thing that happene this week a couple of days ago. Our day did not go as planned at all mostly because I received word last minute that there was going to be a funeral at the church and they needed someone to play the piano. So I went to practice for a little bit while my companion talked to the loved ones of the guy that died. He was a member but his kids and ex-wife are not so the whole thing was really interesting. It was good for us to talk with them but they will need some time before they are willing to accept the gospel. Kind of sad. But anyway, after the funeral we grabbed some gelato because the ice cream places are starting to open up and we wanted to cheer ourselves from the gloom. That may not have been the best move because we live on the same street as the church and as we were coming back to our apartment everyone from the funeral was finally leaving and there we were on one side of the street eating ice cream and there they were on the other side carrying away a dead man's ashes. Awkward.

      We had planned to go in and plan for our week but as we got up to our door we both felt like we should stay out for a while longer. So we started streeting toward the metro station. Once we got there a lady came up and asked us for help to understand the metro. Turns out she and the three family members with her were from Mexico on vacation and since I adore Latinos we took them all over, helping them exchange their money for Hungarian money, helping them buy tickets, showing them how to get on the metro. Only the one lady spoke English so we kept saying random Spanish words and we all had a grand time. I asked if we could take pictures with them and they of course said si! So I have a picture of them and their names and we exchanged addresses and contact information.I emailed her today to say hi and shared a bible video with her in Spanish so we'll see what happens. I don't think she is in Ashlyn's mission but I sent Ash the address anyway just in case. I will also have the office missionaries here send it to the mission it belongs to. It will be pretty ironic if they get baptized and I had to come all the way to Hungary to find them. hahaha. Anyway, it was a cool experience.

There wasn't much that really happened this week. The biggest news would be that Irma came to church, Urbano couldn't because he got a phone call and had to go somewhere... It had to do something with fishing and his son or something, I didn't quite get the hang of it. Also Maria's mom gave her permission to get baptised. so we're planning her baptism for the 21st of march. We also had divisions this week and I went to Tepic for a day where its less hot and I actually got sick because of the ''cold''.

We had 13 less actives come to church. They just come out of nowhere. We've hardly visited them since we've been swamped with our investigators and divisions but we've made it a goal to try and visit as many as we can this week. 

Grandma you asked about Yamileth and we've felt that she's lost interest and so we actually haven't seen her. We've passed by a few times but she's always been busy. Hopefully she'll come around in the future. 

Anyways Just want to tell you all that this church is true. The gospel is powerful and it opens doors. It changes lives and brings peace and happiness when we put it into practice. I've seen a lot of people who say that the church is fake and that it doesn't really change lives. their great mistake is that they never actually put it into practice. the gospel teaches us to ACT and do good things, its not a quick magical fix. If we want to results we have to put in the time and effort to get them. If we want our family to be happier we have to stop saying mean things and start acting nice. Its not a just listen and wait gospel its a listen and act gospel.

Naegle nover: Buda the sixth

This week we gave Krisztián over to the elders. We felt like we had done everything we could to help him and that he needed something else. It's interesting, during their very first visit he told them a few things that he never told us. He would never give us his address (which you need to put on the baptismal record) because he said it was really personal and he didn't want to. But then he told the elders that it was because he lives with a bunch of people and doesn't want to give out their address. He also told them that he interprets the Word of Wisdom revelation to only prohibit wine or anything stronger, so beer is okay. And he told them that he used to belong to the Hit Gyülekezet (the Faith Church) which you can read about in one of my emails from a few weeks ago. Sooooo it's a good thing we went ahead and passed him over. But a little sad too.

Last week on our split one of the Debrecen sisters and I tracted into a man name Máté who said we could come back. This past week we went back and had a great program. He is a heart surgeon, really cool, and really smart. I am super excited to work with him.

Other than that not much exciting stuff happened. We met with a lady named Érzsébet who just wanted to yell at us and complain the entire time. It was pretty frustrating. We also met with a way funny new investigator named Zoltán. He's like 65 and speaks English super weirdly. We love him and he is hilarious.

This week was normal which means good except for sunday which was AMAZING!

so we've started teaching Urbano he's the husband of Irma and he's of GOLD. Just amazing. we've only taught him the first lesson but he pretty much told us that he knows its true and he is seriously considering getting baptised.he says that this is the only religion that makes any sense.  His wife has suffered attacks from witches. There are A LOT of witches in Mexico and they do a lot of damage. These attacks have left her damaged but she's also amazing! They came to church together on Sunday. It wasn't the normal three hours; we had a district meeting with all the branches in Santiago. The first half we talked about family history and branch organization and branch counsel. Elder Johnson a member of the seventy came and spoke. He did amazing. The second half talked about putting in practice what we learn, and loving our spouses and parents  and how we need to have patience one with another. There were also talks about the plan of salvation.   Jesús Demetrio also came to church with us. He's a new investigator that we had this week. We haven't even taught him lesson 1 yet and he came to church! it was pretty cool.  think he got bored though... but he's really nice and he seems interested. We also want to teach his grandma, actually we've taught her lesson 1. she didn't come to church because a cat bit her foot and it swelled up big and nasty. But we're going to go with the elders to give her a blessing. Speaking of blessings this has been the week of blessings. Both Ima and Urbano got blessings and also Nadia one of our investigators who is possessed by an evil spirit, (result of witchcraft and broken hearts) she's really nice and she's a really good dancer.

Well thats all the good stuff. Every day it gets hotter and hotter here in San Blas. I could stay here forever if it wasn't for the heat. Well thats all have an excellent day my family and friends.Remember that the gospel is true and that it changes lives , when you put it in practice.

Favorite scripture: D&C 88:33 '' For what doth it profit a man if a gift is bestowed upon him, and he receive not the gift? Behold, he rejoices not in that which is given unto him, neither rejoices in him who is the giver of the gift''

I love it because its so true. The gift is given, The Atonement has been made but we with our agency have to accept the gift. He won't forcé us to be saved thats completely up to us. The way to accept the gift is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If we leave the gift unwrapped and untouched on the table neither we nor Jesús Christ can rejoice in receiving and giving the gift.

This week was not our best week of the transfer. One of our friends from the MTC had to go home and we are all totally sad. On top of that, we got dogged a million times. And the sisters we split with are having a hard time so it was a little bit of a depressing week. No one came to church, including Krisztián, with whom we met the day before!

But it's all good. Several members asked us to come over during this next week and we have a lot of programs set up already so it is looking to be a good week.
