Yesterday Ashlyn flew from Salt Lake to Guadalajara. She had a layover in Dallas and she got to call home and all of us got to talk to her. It was wonderful!! She sounds great, although she was very teary at hearing our voices. She has really bonded with her little group of Hermanas. There are 9 of them that went together (one sister did not get her visa, much to their disappointment). They will be the first American sister missionaries in the Guadalajara mission. We are excited to talk to her again on Christmas and find out all the details of her arrival in Mexico.
I got an email late last night that simply said, "I made it safely and I'm alive! Love you!"
