Hermana Naegle: Vallarta

Buenas Tardes!

this week was really good. Last week we all got an email from President Wagner. It was a talk about how to become a consecrated missionary. Its really good. It talks about how you have to sacrifice everything on the altar of consecration your disobedience, thoughts, heart, fears, etc. everything has to be cleared away and every thought has to be about the Work. Its really powerful and direct. My companion and I have been studying it this past week and we've been coming up with personal and companionship goals. We both really wan't to become consecrated missionaries. Its been really great to have a companion who really wants to change too. This week we're putting into action our plans and I'm super excited!

Well We have this amazing family that we've been teaching. Their names are manual and Luz. They have two kids Chelsea and Jeffery. They're both so adorable! Chelsea is six and super smiley and is way excited for her parents to get baptised she tells me every day they're getting baptised the 12 of April its darling. jeffery is the smilest baby ever! he's so happy and if he could talk I'm sure that he would be super excited for their baptism as well. The best part about this is that we're not only converting Manuel and Luz, we're converting their children, their future children, and their future posterity.
BUt really they're made of gold. Manuel studied a lot about religions for his work (he's a phychiatrist) and he was studying about the mormons and reading the book of mormon. When he contacted the missionaries he already had a testimony of the Book of mormon and Joseph Smith. And he's been reading church books like crazy. Right now he's reading Jesus the Christ and when he found out how many books the church has he got really really excited. they're amazing. Their desire to obey the commandments is astounding. Everytime we visit with them they tell us about their experiences with the word of wisdom. They had both been coffee drinkers before and they have really been tempted with it but they have been so strong and faithful! Every time we teach them a new commandment they just say ''of course. that makes sense, we'll definitely live that.'' they're so incredible!

Well thats about all for today.

Love you tons!
Hna. Naegle
